Moore is as consistent as they come with his ultra reliable hands, ability to high point the football and his excellent footwork when executing his routes. He has the top gear and quickness to blow by defenders, stretching a defense deep and forcing safeties to respect his speed.
He is a home run threat that can not only get open deep but he does an excellent job tracking the ball over his shoulder because of his great coordination and body control. His concentration level is very consistent and he is not afraid to go over the middle, hauling in the contested passes with regularity.
Moore isn’t overly creative after the catch and lacks the explosive side to side movements necessary to make defenders miss. He has played through pain regularly but needs to thicken his frame out and really didn’t hit stride until his last two seasons at UT.
He’s got the ability to get on top of a defense and while his route running instincts are still a work in progress, he shows the ability to time his breaks out well and force the defender into mistakes.
Moore isn’t a large receiver but he consistently plays big with his my-ball mentality in jump ball situations and his fearlessness going going over the middle for the tough catches. He has very deceptive speed and while he doesn’t have the best acceleration, he is difficult to keep up with at full steam. Moore will be a valued contributor to a team’s wide receiver corps because of his quickness, reliable hands and big play potential.
